Dr. Whang is a board certified ophthalmologist who was raised in Los Angeles. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be an eye surgeon when she grew up. She came to Des Moines to enter private practice in pediatric ophthalmology after completing her fellowship training. Dr. Whang is married and has one daughter and 2 cats.
