DO YOU PARTICIPATE WITH MY VISION PLAN?

Most medical insurance companies do not provide coverage for glasses, even for children who need glasses for treatment of a medical eye condition such as amblyopia and/or strabismus. However, Specific "Vision Insurance" coverage may provide benefits to pay for glasses.

Vision Insurance coverage details vary.  While we do not participate or file with VSP or other similar "Vision Plans", we do provide you with an itemized receipt for glasses purchased through our clinic, which may allow you to be reimbursed in full or in part for the cost of glasses.

Many of our patients may be eligible to pay for glasses through "Flex Plans" provided through an employer.  You may want to check with your employer for Flex Plan details.

The physicians at Children's Eye Clinic are dedicated to providing office and surgical eye care to children covered by Title 19 and Hawk-I programs.  However, the clinic  is not a provider of glasses for children covered under these health plans.
